Movie rant

Del Toro is no longer directing The Hobbit movies, I'm a little releaved. I like Guermo del Toro I really do. But I didn't want The Hobbit to have a bunch of Pan's Labyrinth rejects in it like Hellboy 2. Again don't get me wrong I liked Pan's Labyrinth, I liked it a lot, del Toro has just latched on to that style. With Jackson producing originally I didn't expect a ton of del Toro's designs in it, but he was picked by Jackson for a reason. I was assuming because of his work with Pan's.
But I'm a little scared having Jackson back in the directors seat because he said he didn't want to feel like he has to compete with the LOTR trilogy and it feels like he was forced back in to the director's seat.
And again The Hobbit has been pushed back...

Pan's Labyrinth is a schizophrenic movie that left me cold. Hellboy 2 was better, as it felt more cohesive to me (style and story). I just hope Peter Jackson dosent turn Middle Earth brown again.

If we get alot of singing, I'll be happy.
