More Mega Man Madness!!

But, sadly, I didn't make it.

(PS- I found this through Kurt who found it through Plastic Nothing http://plasticnothing.blogspot.com/ . Credit where it's due)

So today I went back to work for the first time in over a week

I was reminded why I've been at the same place for almost three years with such little pay. I walked in and one of the boys, we'll call him Dartanian, was walking out of the bathroom and another boy was walking towards the bathroom, we'll call him Maldor. Dartanian looked at Maldor and said "I pOOoooOOppped" very proud of him self, Maldor replied "I know" Dartanian said "I pooped a poopsword" and he was very excited as he told him. I wasn't even there for five minutes and I hear this shit, I love it there.

I felt compelled to post these stupid ass music videos

I kind of wish Peter Jackson would have kept the quirkiness and music from the books, 15 birds was one of my favorite songs of all of the books, this version kicks ass, haha.

I'm tougher than you think! The warden of any prison has to be the very best in kung fu.

Let's go again, I was going to wait until next week for this one to continue my ultra violent trend. But I found out that this movie was the first movie in China to be rated a Category III for violence, the government given rating that legally prevents children under 18 to enter or rent a movie. So I had to include it with the Street Fighter. They also both use the X-ray punch/death though The Street Fighter started that trend. This movie is a Chinese made movie based on a Japanese manga and anime, which is pretty common in China. I had heard several time from friends about scenes of this movie but no one I knew had watched in its entirety. One night while kicking around Youtube I watched a couple of scenes and decided I had to watch it. I found a dubbed version, really half the charm of this movie, and proceeded to watch it through. It is one of the funniest and goriest b movies I have ever viewed. People get punched through, their eyes slapped out of their heads, some guy uses his intestine to try and choke out the hero, the lower skin of a dude's face gets cut off in one slice and a man gets his head clapped in to gore. It's a fucking amazing and terrible movie and I love it. I've included two trailers because one is kind of neat, it shows the manga comparisons to the actors and the other makes it look super serious. I present Riki/y-oh aka the legend of riki/y aka the story of riki/y aka King of Strength aka Lik Wong.

Seriously don't be fooled by the second trailer, the movie not that serious, it's pretty much up it's own ass and trying to get people more interested. But what should get you interested is the B-grade, dead alive esque gore.
Spoiler Alert!: Contains gore

You can find this movie pretty easily on youtube.

Improve your skills, son, harden your body, become a NUMBER ONE MAN!

I'm mad at myself for not watching this movie sooner. I'm a big fan of the star actor of the movie and I own two copies of this movie but I just watched it. I got this movie on a five dvd set and then I forgot I had it in that set and then bought it at the dollar store. I also bought a three movie collect with all of the movies staring this lead actor. Sonny Chiba is one of my favorite action stars, I've seen him as a ninja, Duke Togo a anime/manga character, the leader of a Arctic expedition team, the famous Jubei Yagyu, the equally famous Hattori Hanzo and now a street fighter. The Street Fighter, a cult classic, was also the first movie to be rated X for violence. While tame compared to today's standards, for the time it's rather violent. This movie is obviously easily found and is usually cheaper than actually renting it, I would suggest anyone that's a fan of brutal martial arts movies to just purchase a cheap copy as they are the X rated version. I present six foot six of half breed fury, THE STREET FIGHTER.

This was the scene that made sure I sat down and watched this movie. I'm also getting ready to watch the return of the street fighter with Heart Burn.

This early morning...

I decided that I would try and "blog network" to get us some more reading people. I clicked on the Vancouver link, figuring I would find many a readers/bloggers that I know. I'm in the 500's and I've found two. One person I kind of work with and another I don't want contact with. What's weird is that a majority of people I'm finding on here are between 32 and 75, as many people as I know in the area most are not between those ages. Also every other profile has jesus, the bible, jc or christ in their profile those people are not our demographic. So much for coning more people I know in to reading this inane bullshit.

A fan favorite

There's no love in your violence.

This movie opened up a whole new world for me. I was introduced to visual insanity and wanted more. It's not a movie for everyone, especially people with weak stomachs are boast high morals. It's twisted, sick, violent and very funny. Before this movie I had only ever heard the term Yakuza a couple times before, now it's common place in my movie vocabulary. The man who directed this movie is now one of my favorite directors, here in the states he's marketed as the American Quentin Tarantino, when in reality Mr. Tarantino has claimed the man behind this movie as an inspiration and this movie as the inspiration behind the crazy 88;s scene in Kill Bill. I present to you Koroshiya 1 or Ichi the killer.

The problem with this movie is that everyone tries to make the trailers so damn serious and "edgy" Truthfully I have no idea how I would edit a trailer for the movie, but I think including some of the more comedic dialogue would be a good idea. The trailer I posted for the two disk set is pretty decent though and obviously if you watched it you got an idea of some of the gore. It's very comic book in it's visual style, which is the kind of violence I love. If you're not in to that much violence but want to check it out cut versions of the movie exsist, Blockbuster usually carries the cut version. But really, I can't express the need to watch the movie uncut, cut kills (no pun intended) a lot of the power of the images. Miike, the director, loves to play tricks on you. He'll show you some rather dark humored violence, not pull any punches, but when he shows the real down and gritty violence, most of the scene that are cut, he usually pulls away before you actual see it, making your mind image scenes of horror you never thought you could imagine. Seriously this movie is one of my favorites and anyone that's adventorous should check it out.
There's really no way to post a scene to this movie and have it make sense without seeing it. So i'm posting a scene where Ichi kills a large number of Yakuza. This scene is some what tame because the gore is CG.

If you want a real mind fuck, read the manga in one night, Shane and I did, what a fucking roller coaster.

Because it's been too long...

and I know you bastards are dieing to hear more Seikima II

You know what's gnarly?

Coughing until your body makes you throw up, and then while you're throwing up your nose starts a blood fountain in to the toilet. Stupid nasal spray the doctor gaze me to clear my sinuses gives me nose bleeds, I hate it. On a lighter note I found Wolverine origins Deadpool figures today, yes as in plural. Anyone that knows Shane and I, know that he ranks at the top of our favorite Marvel characters, however Rob Leifeld ranks at the top of our most hated comic artists.

You know what's a good movie?

Kentucky Fried Movie. That's a good movie.

My wrist hurts...

This is what I did today:

Movie Breaker review

Yeah I broke down and dropped $13 on a figure that's not out yet. I'm usually the kind of person that waits to get something knowing that
I'll eventually find it. The only time I buy stuff of ebay is if it's a good deal, like the ultimate battle pack, I got that damn thing for $22 not including shipping and even with shipping is was cheaper than it ever was around here. I also recently picked up the Shockwave/Destro comic pack for $10 after shipping. I also usually don't care if I have things first, I'm not posting all over boards saying "Oh guess what I got in the mail today" or "I have it before you, haha". I truthfully don't know what overcame me to purchase this figure but I did. Was it worth it, I dunno, probably not, I could have waited.

One major complaint about this figure is that he's too plain. Which is also the same complaint about the original 13 and I completely understand. I like the simplicity of his uniform. I think it works for a coms guy. He doesn't need to hunkered down by uniform. What I wish he included was some communications gear other than the laptop.

This figure gets no complaints when it comes to possibility though. His elbows bend a full 90 degrees, he doesn't suffer from diaper crotch and his ankles aren't hindered by his lower legs. I hope all the movie figures have articulation of this caliber, though sadly Storm Shadow wont be.

Overall his paint aps are pretty good, except on the flesh parts, they're not terrible there's just something wrong about them that I can't put my finger on. The camo is nicely applied and the thins stripes running down his sleeves are nice and straight, albeit mine is missing one.

His gear is alright, some sort of assault rifle, a pis
tol, a laptop with a cord that attaches to a missiles launcher that mine did not include, his vest and a belt. The guns are pretty nicely designed and he has no issues holding them. What I like about his vest is that unlike some of the more recent 25th figures, his vest has tabs on both sides so it's not a pain in the ass to get off.

I usually don't "revi
ew" items or try and rate them. It's not what I generally so, I like to share my opinion on things and talk to people about item. But I don't point at something and tell someone "oh yeah that's a 8 out 10, you should buy it". If I had to do some stupid rating system I'd give the figure 6 skulls out of 10. Not a great figure, most people can live without him.

I love this movie, plain and simple. It's a staple in cult classics, there's even a bike ride across New York tracing the same steps these characters did in the movie. This movie is also one of the only movies that has a video game based on it and is good. All of the cast members but one, hes deceased, came back to voice the game. Also a remake is coming out next year, not that excited about it. They're moving the location of it to Los Angles, which isn't a huge gripe but like I said it's a staple in New York and Coney Island culture. Warriooooors come out and pla-i-ay.

The soundtrack for this movie kicks major ass too, I've been looking for a copy of it for awhile. So I can play songs off of it on my iPod as I fight my way home from work.

Cochice, Swan and Snow really steal the show here, but Rembrant sprays the hell out of thet guys eyes and Cowboy gets a couple good bat hits in.

and of course more music that yours truly loves

Little known fact, one of my favorite genres of music is doom metal. Especially doom metal from the Pacific North West, haha, Agalloch and Wolves in the throne room. Though Agalloch no longer resides in Portland.
Also Pagan Altar kicks ass too. Doom metal from the late 70's who have gotten back together in the past few years.

Bands that I like (for once)

For all the Pantera fans out there.

EDIT: Yeah, this one too-

You're already dead

Tonight marks the ending of the week long movie vault updates. This coming week the vault will be updated either Wednesday or Thursday giving all five fans a chance to track the movie down if they desire to. I was going to finish the update with one of my favorite movies of all time, but I decided against it. I decided to pick a real winner, something that's very enjoyable to watch with friends and probably drunk, though I haven't tested that theory yet, I saw this one years ago. This one is an American movie based on a Japanese animation and manga, so you know it's grade A ass. I'm a big fan of 80's anime, especially super violent 80's anime. I knew the movie couldn't top it's source in violence, but it did in laughs. I present to you the American live action Fist of the north star trailer.

I love Fist of the north star in all mediums, though the movie sucks it's enjoyable because it's so bad. Kenshiro the main character is like a cross between Mad Max and Bruce Lee, two other things I also love. You can never go wrong with post apocolypic craziness, well maybe you can, but it's usually way kick ass.

Now here are some scenes from the 80's animation and the animation from a few years ago just to show you why I fucking love fist of the north star. I don't expect anyone to watch all of the third clip but there's some kick ass shit in it.
SPOILER!: The following videos include extreme violence.

For sure atleast watch the first couple of minutes. The part before this he punches and kicks the shit out these guys.

Also Heartburn wanted to add his responce:
If you post this I'll be your best friend

Spoiler Alert: You're already dead

Mostly Maui Waui man, but it's got some Labrador in it.

I just got done watching this movie with my parents, no shit. I grew up watching this movie, when I was in the 7th grade I dressed up as one of these characters for Halloween and got in a argument with some shithead about who was a bigger fan. There's really not much to say about it other than it pretty much started a genre of movie that's still going strong, the stoner flick. Cheech and Chong's: Up and smoke is still funny as hell no matter how many times I've seen it.

There's really too many classic scenes, it's hard to pick just one. But I settled with this one, you might have to turn the sound up, not sure it might just be my computer.

Man fuckah John Wayne

Here is a movie I should be waiting to do, but I have to throw out a couple good ones once and awhile. It's one of my favorites and a regular watch in my group of friends. It's been mentioned once before in a post, a drunken one at that. There's a good story that comes along with this one. My friend and I went around town looking for a copy of this movie, but to no avail. We eventually called the blockbuster where I have an account and he asked them to hold this particular movie. When we went to pick it up the kid working that handed it to me and said "It usually against Blockbuster's policy to rent movies out like this" I looked at him confused and asked him what he meant. He replied "Rapoman, we don't usually rent movie out like this" we both had a good laugh. I guess when my friend called to have it held the kid thought he was saying Rapoman. So I present to you, what some of my friends say is their favorite movie, Repoman.

This movie has some of the best dialogue written, ever. It's also a punk rock classic. This if for sure one of my favorite scenes.

For sure check this one out.
Anyways I'm off to party and probably watch bad/awesome movies. Have a good and safe Friday night.

This is pretty wicked

So after posting that Seikima II video I started looking more in to them. Their fucking awesome, that's all I have to say. The lead singer Demon Kogure is a fucking mad man, he preaches a religion a demons and Satan, he does fusion music of modern rock and traditional Japanese music, he reads poetry and he's a sumo wreslter commentator all while he's in his character. Their name translates to the end of the century, they were preaching the end of the world and that it would be in 2000. They broke up on December 31st at 11:59:59 pm. They have done a couple reunion tours and some of the members do other projects with him. As far as heavy metal goes, which I'm not a big fan of or really at all, these guys are tops. This song was taken from a concert where they had past members come and play with them, it's fucking nuts, look at how many guitarists they have on stage, they also have two drums. The solos are awesome too.

Yeah they look like a Kiss rip off, I saw Kiss when I was 12, I would have rather seen these guys. I like their music a lot more.

The most advanced womans correctional facility in this sector

Here's one I had the enjoyment of viewing. Luckily my friend's roommate picked it up at a garage sale for cheap and it was sitting on his movie self with a smattering of classics. After watching Phantasm we decided to watch something else and this is what we pulled off the shelf. It's of the stereotypical women in prison genre....but in SPACE! It's a futuristic tale of a woman being in prison and having to fight her way out. There's gratuitous tit shots, over the top use of racial slurs and some random stripping scene in front of fat white men thrown in. Here's the grade A trailer. Sadly this is another movie people don't feel the need to post. So the only thing I could find was the trailer so here's some pictures of Lisa Boyle, the lead.

He already has more fans than us

Do you know about Ill Mitch? We do, and let us tell you he is the finest Russian Born Rap Master we've ever heard of! He raps raps, he also makes videos and sells shirts and posters and stickers and crap.

So go ahead, watch his videos at and spread the word! I'm sure he would appriciate it, as he wants more fans so that he can buy an ipod.

So...

I was about to head to bed when I found out that there's a trailer out for this movie

I've been looking forward to it for awhile. I stopped paying attention to it because it kept getting pushed back though so I had no idea it had a release date or even a trailer. I sort of hope Eli Roth dies a slow painful death, I really don't care for his movies, but that's another post for another time.

Unlawful procreation?

For the crime you will be sentenced to life in a maximum security prison called....the fortress....2. Well, it's not called the fortress 2 but the movie is. I really don't have much to say about it other that it's mind blowingly retarded and it stars Christopher Lambert, who will also be remembered as the guy who said "There can be only one". I was really inebriated when I saw this movie. I had a lot of good laughs and that was really enjoyable. This movie is what Spooky's movie vault is about, movies youc an really enjoy with friends. Lets take a peek at the trailer shall we?

You know what's great? I could really only find one clip of the movie aside from the trailer. It happens to be a very "classic" scene too, oh and it's in French.

Really watching this movie in low quality in French would be ideal.

I'm a corpse burrito, dude!

It's that time again and tonight I've picked a real B movie gem. Looking at this movie you would expect nothing more than a Sci-Fi original and really that's what you get though I don't think it was. It's on the higher, I would say way higher end of Sci-Fi original movies. It's like Texas chainsaw massacre plus Kevin Smith. Though I've become grossly sick with Kevin Smith for the most part and dislike using him as an example, I think it fits well here. Basically a couple of guys go on a road trip because of of the characters decided he must profess his love to his Ex who is going to get married. On the way they come across a homicidal maniac in a monster truck, craziness, blood and laughs ensue. I present to you Monster Man
I had issues finding the trailer on youtube, so here's the IMDB link. It's a terrible terrible trailer and had I seen it before the movie I wouldn't have seen the movie.

http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi1385627929/
I did however find this good clip from the movie. Enjoy.

You're a disease and I'm the cure

I decided every night this week I would post a movie from the "vault". Starting next week it will be a weekly article but to "celebrate" it or whatever it'll be nightly. Tonight I pick a movie that I some how got conned in to watching twice, both times with Shane. It's a enjoyable movie, when you make fun of it to no end. It's often referred to in my group of friends, specifically a scene that is supposed to be connected to the story but is never explained. Here is the trailer to the classic Reagen era crap fest, Cobra: where only minorities can be badguys.

This movie is too outrageous to sum up in just one scene. So here's a couple, enjoy this fine piece of art.

What blows my mind is that this was apparently based on a book....either this movie is so far detached from the book or the book was really fucking retarded. But I digress, while the movie is terrible it's fun to watch.

ok so I present

So things have been a little slow here, I've been sick, Shane has been visiting his parents a lot. We've been spending a lot of our free time playing Team Fortress 2 and I've been painting plastic men again. To keep things flowing a little bit I'll continue to post Youtube videos but I'll be posting my favorite scenes from movies that are great to watch while having a couple beers, eating pizza and hanging out with some of your closest friends. This doesn't mean these movies are good or bad or anything but they're fun to watch in the right environment. True story my good friend Alex, my brother and I did those very things while watching this one. They Live, is a classic, I'm a big fan of John Carpenter's 80's work. While Escape from New York and The Thing were more serious, I got a lot of laughs from They Live. Plus Roddy Piper makes everything golden, he was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up. Before the scene here is the trailer.
Now here is the four and a half minute fight scene, legend has it that it wasn't coreographed and it wasn't supposed to go on for as long as it did, but they just let the two go at it and left the camera rolling.

So next weekend, get some good ass pizza, cheap beer hang out with some close friends and watch this campy kick ass film. If you've already seen it, watch it again.
